Data we collect
BrainCompete stores your game scores and personal best records in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you voluntarily submit a score to the global leaderboard.
Leaderboard submissions
When you submit a high score, we store your chosen nickname, selected country flag, and score. We do not collect your real name, email, IP address, or any other personal information.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use BrainCompete. This collects anonymous, aggregated data such as page views and performance metrics. No personally identifiable information is tracked.
Advertising
BrainCompete displays banner ads through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
Cookies
BrainCompete itself does not set cookies. However, third-party services (Google AdSense, Vercel Analytics) may set cookies as described above.
